Biography
I was appointed as a U.S. Probation Officer 18 years ago and have dedicated my career to the post-conviction division in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to my appointment with U.S. Probation, I was a juvenile probation officer at Pima County Juvenile Court for approximately ten years. My undergraduate studies are in psychology and Spanish from the University of Arizona. My post-conviction tenure includes a generalist, the low-risk, step-down sex offender and step-down mental health caseloads. Extra curriculars involved me being an entry officer in the search team, STARR coordinator, STARR coach and ORT instructor. I was promoted to Supervisory U.S. Probation Officer in October 2022 in post-conviction division operations.
I served as an FPPOA District Representative commencing in April of 2024, joined the FPPOA Officer Safety Committee in February of 2025, and FPPOA Education Committee in June 2025, before being elected Western Region President. I’m passionate to be a committee member and advocate for our front liners!
